There is something very definitive about Labor Day. End of summer, start of the school year. The first "day off" in a while... And this year it has made me nostalgic. Given me the itch for getting away, and the freedom of childhood. Maybe because it was the Best Summer Ever. Maybe because this is my last year with a kid-at-home (Mira starts Kindergarten next year). Whatever the case, the holiday weekend called for me to make a quilt to capture the feeling. So the Camper Quilt.
Made with a partial charm square pack: Kona Dusty Pallette
Moda S'more love campers
Various scraps and peices to round out the cheery vintage pallette
Some lucky kid will get to go camping with this. Maybe mine. But that will have to wait until next summer...
